Notes

Notes are Markdown files in ~/Notes, so they stay plain, searchable, and readable by other programs and agents. Beside the editor, a list with search and pinned notes, folders, checklists and a preview line.

Stickies

Any note can float as a sticky: a small window on its colour's paper (amber, kamenozoki, hanada, green or rose) that stays above other windows and comes back where it was, at your next login too.

Plain files

A note's file is named after its title and renamed with it; folders are subdirectories. Pins and colours live in one small file beside them, so the notes stay plain. Files another program changes or adds show within three seconds, and a deleted note goes to the Trash. A click on a task's [ ] ticks it; Super-click opens a link.

From anywhere

Select text in any app and choose New Note with Selection from the app menu's Services. aizome-fusen --new TEXT and --new-from-stdin make notes from scripts. If a note can't be saved, Fusen keeps the draft, says why and offers Retry.
